"but if you do not forgive others their trespasses [their reckless and willingful sins, leaving them, letting them go, and giving up resentment]; neither will your father forgive you your trespasses."
Matthew 6:15
Think about it for a minute, God's forgiveness is dependant in our ability to forgive others.
Many are the times when we come to Him not even remembering who we have not forgiven and we are down there desperate for His forgiveness but He says forgive others first.
"But they did it intentionally" we are tempted to say.
Just forgive, no matter what others did to you or their reasons. That is what God want. He want you to let go.
What about you? What was yours reason to sin? Was it an accident, influence of a spirit, a weakness or just a moment weakness?
No matter the reason why you did it, we all sin. We sin against God and He gracefully forgives us and let it go.
How about us?
We need to let go of those who have hurt us and God in heaven will forgive you too and you will make it home.
Do not give those people all that power to stop you from entering heaven. Cut yourself lose by learning to forgive for the journey is long.
Just let it go. Forgive.
